I've used your code to access some pci information and I've realise that I couldn't do with python3.4.
Without checking the complete module, I did the minimal changes to my needs to make it compatible with both, python 2.7 and 3.4. You may like to apply this patch or wait for a bigger check to make it work for both versions (I don't know when and if I would do).
